When using third-party hardware, smart-me does not take care of load management. The manufacturer of the charging hardware offers its own measurement solution for control.
Within a smart-me ASC, it must be expected that meter hardware for control must be installed in addition to the smart-me meters for the calculation of the ASC at the points where the red arrows are located.
If, on the other hand, load management is not used by the respective manufacturer, but is solved via third-party software, the smart-me meters can also serve as a reference and source of information for the third-party hardware.

Billing can be carried out in different ways with their specific advantages and disadvantages:
Billing in the standard or multi-tariff system in the ASC with smart-me Billing separately or together with the flat consumption.
Billing in the uniform tariff system using the post-payment method and the eCarUp backend.
Billing in the standard tariff system using highly automated credit card billing via the eCarUp backend.
