Differences between smart-me Billing and the energy supplier
This section describes a standardized method for checking whether there is a difference between the bill from the energy supplier and smart-me Billing.
Methodology
There are two approaches to tracking down the error. Depending on the case, one or the other approach is easier.
The smart-me Billing is checked again. If there is a configuration error, this can lead to incorrect values in smart-me Billing.
The Excel table is filled out. The Excel can be downloaded here: Difference between energy supplier and smart-me.xlsx
Requirements
The ZEV has a smart-me meter at the house connection (HAK)
There is an invoice for consumption (purchase) and reimbursement (supply) from the energy supplier for a complete billing period.
Procedure for filling out Excel
The list is filled in from top to bottom.
The fields to be filled in manually are marked in blue.
The green lines must then be checked.
There are different checkpoints in Excel. The error must be searched for at the first unfulfilled checkpoint.
The checkpoints build on each other accordingly.
The checkpoints each fulfill a specific purpose:
Difference in consumption balance: This determines whether the smart-me balance meter is within the measurement tolerance of 1% for consumption (consumption) compared to the energy supplier.
Difference balance reimbursement: This determines whether the smart-me balance meter is within the measurement tolerance of 1% for reimbursement (supply) compared to the energy supplier.
Balance vs. sub-consumer: This checks whether the sub-measurements and the smart-me balance meter are within the measurement tolerance of 1%. The standby consumption of the photovoltaic system and all smart-me devices is taken into account.
Meter reading vs. virtual meter: This checks whether every kilowatt hour that was measured is also billed in smart-me Billing.
Grid supply from the energy supplier vs. smart-me Billing: This checks whether the high, low and solar tariffs in smart-me Billing match the bill from the energy supplier.
Self-consumption vs. smart-me Billing: This checks whether every kilowatt hour of self-consumed photovoltaic energy is also billed.
Reservation
The Excel is a guided template for checking differences. smart-me is not conclusively liable for the content of the Excel.
The Excel is still in beta version, it was created in late summer 2023.
The Excel cannot currently check all cases and may still contain minor errors. These are constantly being corrected.
